  • A fantastic deal

    The model has some thin areas around the wing mounts and knee cavities that needed to be touched up with a little green stuff. The mold lines, where they are present, are extremely thick and actually distort the model somewhat, and due to the resin material are actually fairly difficult to completely clean up. Finally, there were noticeable areas of warping/bubbling causing painting to be more of a hassle.

    HOWEVER. The above issues are all not even noticeable after the model has been touched up and painted. Even the severe mold lines are hardly visible unless you know where to look. So in the end, a fantastic deal when it comes in at a third the price of the overcosted original.

    Shipping wise. Model shipped from seller within a day of paying the invoice. It arrived in customs within about three days of purchasing it where it then was stuck in shipment purgatory for about a month before it finally arrived. So in the end, it wasn't really the sellers fault for the delay, just the long customs wait times, for which your mileage may vary.

    Great price, awesome delivery time (only 3 weeks to Ontario), the obvious touch ups are in perfect places where cutting them off doesn't harm the model, I even left the shoulder pad molds on cuz they can be shaped into wing/blade looking things.

    Ok I just got my XV9 Hazard Suit the other day along with my clear material stealth suit team what can I say they are fricken awesome. My only complaint and its a minor one was how long it took to get here holy crap almost 3 months from purchase to delivery. But as they good things come to those who wait. Well I will be buying alot more from these guys their sculpts are awesome looking forward to my next purchase

    Shipping and value are great.

    Mine had some defects that are not uncommon for this sculpt. It needs a bit of love to be fixed.

    Came with its 60mm base and one choice of head.

    Seeing the other reviews, I may have gotten a lemon. Will likely buy a second/third in the near future, and I will update this review if things change.

    The kit I received is quite decent. Parts fit together nice and snug, and the quality of the resin was excellent. Sadly, I had some defects, though nothing I couldn't clean up with a file and hobby knife. Definitely worth the money.

    A note to future buyers who may be ignorant like myself: yes, they are supposed to come on 60mm (Dreadnought) bases. (This one did, it just threw me off initially so I figure I'd share)
