  • Hard Work but worth it

    This is the original forgeworld thunderhawk and not the new shape one.

    Came well packaged and quickly with no broken parts. As with any large resin kit your need to reshape and adjust parts for a tight fit.

    This kit did require a lot of work more than any other kit I have made, and I’ve made a lot! it’s not for the inexperienced, it probably required more work than an official FW kit, however for less than half the price you really can’t complain about it needing extra effort!

    Extremely large gorgeous looking flyer, would buy another

      Ok Let me start be saying that this like the original is not an easy kit, but it is totally worth the effort.

      Negatives:
      You will have to clean and file a few bits.
      You will have to reform a few of the thinner pieces with a Heat Gun (Do NOT use hot water).
      Be prepared to use a lot of super glue.

      Positives:
      The model is well cast with no mold slippages or miscasts.
      It's sturdy and thankfully light so not difficult to mount on a base.
      It's a Thunderhawk.
